Hmmm, Let's See...

...an equine bill for some starving horses that were headed for slaughter and consumption in other countries where they eat that shit. And the horses would most likely have died anyways. Oh, and they had some eye candy in the form of Bo Derek to kinda 'persuade' their vote. And some bullshit debate about the ABC docu-drama about 9/11. This is what our elected representives concerned themselves with this week. Well, it sounds like a busy week to my ass, and some important legislation to debate.

So let me see if I get this straight. We have what appears to be two unwinnable wars going on and a budget deficit consisting of numbers my mind can't comprehend, and all these asswipes have to do is ponder what a has-been actress has to say about a bunch of horses? I want in on that gig. They take the entire month of August off, come back for a month, and then get the month of October off. Oh, and wait, I forgot, the senate today put out a report that said Hussein had nothing to do with 9/11. No shit. The prez admitted that a few weeks ago. What's the point? Our asses are in this mess and these bafoons have nothing better to do?

My take on this tomfoolery is that politicians and the MSM have elevated themselves to celebrity status. All they want is air and print time. What they do in the chambers is just a means to an end. All they do is spew their vitriol against the other party so these silly ass confrontations can get them on the news shows, make-up and all. Holy Fuckamoly!! Perhaps it's time for a citizen uprising.
