Rifle Help...

...from the experts. I have an old single-shot 22 winchester. Hell, I can't even remember how old it is. I bought it as a kid. I want a new one. Do they make multi-shot ones now? Any recommendations?

Multi-shot? As in holding more than one round???

Heck yeah. A .22 holds like 20 rounds at least I would imagine. Get subsonic ammo with it and you might even be able to shoot it around your home without bothering the neighbors if you have any woods.

At LAST!! My chance to "school" the smart dude.

Hell yeah they make multi shot .22's, semi automatic but...my favorite is an old bolt action, eight shot clip Marlin which my old man gave me recently. It's the one I learned to shoot with YEARS ago. It's over seventy yrs old and still shoots like laser.

I fired over eighty rounds with it today, just perforating a new "burn barrel" on the property. Sweet old rifle.

I love livin' in the sticks where you can just walk outside and fire away without the neighbors calling the fuckin' SWAT team!

Take a look at Ruger's 10-22. I also like the marlin semi automatic. The Remington Nylon was a sweet shooting .22 but I don't know if they still make them.

You might take a look around the pawn shops that sell guns and look for a Stevens .22 semi automatic. It was produced by Savage Arms for years and is one hell of a nice .22 very reliable as long as you shoot .22 long rifles thru it.

Winchester has gone out of business..hold on to that single shot..probably worth a lot as a collectors piece.

I like the 10-22; decent quality, reasonable price, especially if you find a used one in good shape.
