Anyone In The Dental Profession...

...out there? Have you ever gotten one of those little white things that just suddenly show up on your tongue?

Damned if those bastards don't hurt. Anyone know what causes them and how to get rid of them?

OK well, I did send you a bunch of info in email once, which you never responded to...

that stuff balances your PH

PH is thrown off by too much sugar (or alcohol) consumption (among other things)

and as far as i know, (which ain't much) those white things which hurt like hell, are a sighn of PH being off.

If you had that stuff, you could take some or rinse your mouth with it... that's what I would do anyway, that crap cures damn near anything.

I hope you feel better.

I'll give it a shot, Dick, thanks.

Infinitesimal, I don't recall ever seeing the e-mail. Please send it again if you can.

My mom always called them lie bumps and asked if I had been telling any lies, hahaha.

I read before that they are irritated taste buds, usually caused by something spicy, which basically burns the taste bud and gives it a white appearance and causes pain like any burn would.

Gargling with salt water is all I have ever heard about that "cures" it quickly. Hope it works for you! :)
