I'm Sure You've All...

...heard of the recent approval of the morning after pill. I happen to think it's a good idea, but it was moronic to approve it for only those above 18. As if a sister won't do a sister a favor and get her some. Sometimes I stick my finger up my butt and rotate when the FDA makes it's decisions. Thirty years ago I was against abortion. As I've aged mentally, which is more akin to deterioration, I could care less. I happen to think that women have the right to do whatever they damned well please. Nobody owns their body except them. I have opinions. The opponents of abortion claim it's a violation of god's law and murder. I don't see it that way. They say life is a gift. I've met some that would say just the opposite. In my opinion as soon as we were able to do invitro fertilization that arguement went out the window. God's omniscience and omniprescience when it comes to conjugal union and conception was moot. If there is a god, and I'm sure there is, it's a being that is pure energy. Something that can create a quark has to be one bad being. But I doubt this being has too much concern for our lowly asses. We make our own decisions. In the old christian tradition they didn't want men masturbating because they would spill their seed and it could have been used to impregnated a woman, which would have produced a baby. I'm going to hell for sure. I've got seeds all over the damned place.

I've always thought about it on the medical level. Birth control pills, and their derivatives, like the morning after pill, are rough on a women's body. Lot's of estrogen changes and such. The regular pill in particular is extremely dangerous if the woman smokes. My wife did. So I pondered and asked myself if I would rather have her for a lifetime or get my dick wet. I opted for the former. She was fine with that, except for the fact that she took that as an even better excuse than I have a headache. Fuck me. She divorced my ass anyways and ended up with someone that liked to fuck her in the butt. If you knew her that's not something that would go over very well. There is justice in the world. But I'm glad they approved it. We're too crowded as it is, and we don't need anymore unwanted kids floating around. And the way the world is lately it will probably be a short pony ride. TGIF...
