Well, When The World...

...is going to hell in the proverbial handbasket, it would seem like a good idea to just kick back, do a few chores and enjoy a mint julep. I've been protoplasmed here for 53 years and never do I remember the world being in such a state of turmoil. I guess I should be more concerned, but I honestly believe it's a natural state of affairs. The Roman Empire existed for thousands of years before they dummied up and imploded. And I think all nations and civilizations are doomed to repeat the same thing, for whatever reason; complacency, poor leadership, apathy, general malcontent, greed, boorishness, whatever. It's just the way things are. Get used to it.
